A Collaborative Brunch In Honor Of International Women’s Day: All-Female Chef Lineup
The Miami Beach EDITION presents a special collaborative brunch in honor of International Women’s Day that will feature a stellar all-female chef lineup concluding with a “Women in Music” panel on Sunday, March 8. The event will kick-off with an intimate cocktail hour followed by a specially curated three-course menu featuring Grilled and Chilled Key West Pink Shrimp with green mango and papaya slaw and avocado, a Sweet Potato & Quinoa Cakes Kale with red cabbage slaw with lemon tahini sauce or a Raw Shaved Snapper Crudo with chili ferment, crispy rice, and mint as started, followed by your choice of Roasted Beets Carpaccio with avocado, dijon, chili aioli, pickles and herb, a Eggs Benny Crispy Pork Rillettes on focaccia, egg gribiche, greens, and pickled veggies or a Lemon Coconut Pancakes with cashew ricotta, blood orange chia jam and a pistachio sesame brittle. The celebratory menu is crafted by Matador Room Executive Chef Ilkay Suuctugu alongside The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale Executive Chef Paula DaSilva and Pure Grey Culinary Manager Thais Rodriguez. Taking place in Matador Room, this event promotes women empowerment, unity, and celebration for women all over.
The exclusive “Women in Music” panel will touch upon their experiences in the Miami music scene and will feature notable staples in the industry such as Sweat Records’ owner and co-founder Lolo Reskin, III Points’ event producer Ashley Solage, Rakastella Music Festival founder Becks Lange and it will be moderated by Prism and Culture Crusaders founder Pola Bunster with sounds by Jessica Who.
A portion of the brunch proceeds will benefit Miami Girls Rock Camp, a camp that uses music and performance as a platform to promote self-esteem, community, and creative expression for girls and non-binary youth in Miami.
The cocktail reception will take place from 12:00-1:00 PM, brunch from 1:00-3:00 PM, followed by the “Women in Music” panel from 4:00-6:00 PM.
