A historic Mediterranean Revival mansion in Miami Beach, Florida, owned by real estate developer and hotelier Alan Faena has just sold for $13.3 million after being on the market for over a year.

The property was listed for $16.5 million in November 2019 via Oren Alexander of Douglas Elliman. The price was reduced to $14.5 million this July and again to $12.8 million in September, listing records show.

The sale closed earlier this month for $13.3 million, and a Delaware-registered limited liability company was listed as the buyer, according to property records accessed through PropertyShark.

Mr. Faena, 57, a fashion designer-turned-developer bought the property for $10.3 million in 2014, property records show. His company, Faena Group, is developing a $1 billion waterfront megaproject in Miami Beach, which includes a hotel, an arts center, and a residential tower. He had a similar development in his native Buenos Aires, Argentina.
