Sit back, close your eyes, and imagine yourself in the Caribbean sipping on a refreshing, mixed Rum cocktail by the water. You can open your eyes now; it’s National Rum Day!
In celebration of National Rum Day (August 16th), we’ve rounded up four of our favorite Rum cocktail recipes from BYBLOS, CHICA, KAORI, and SWEET LIBERTY that will take you to that beach you’ve been dreaming of this Summer! Below find our rum-based favorites from four of Miami’s culinary hotspots.
Byblos – Marrakesh Garden
- 2oz. Rum
- 1oz. Lime
- 1oz. Cucumber Juice
- 1oz. Mint Syrup
Combine ingredients in a long glass. Add ice and garnish with nigella seeds.

- 2 oz – White Rum
- 0.5 oz – Blackberry puree
- 0.75 oz – Lime juice
- 0.75 oz – Simple syrup (equal parts white sugar and water)
- 5 – mint leaves
Use a jigger to measure out your ingredients and add red bean coconut mix, rums, and fresh pineapple juice to a cocktail shaker to mix. Shake the cocktail for 10-15 seconds before double straining into a large cocktail glass. Top with crushed ice and garnish with mint sprig.
