The simple after-dinner cocktail popular in the ’90s is making a big comeback and is now everywhere. Ali Torres, GM and mixologist at Freehold Miami’s, shares her take on the classic cocktail, Freehold Espresso Martini is made from their cold brew concentrate that goes through a 24-hour process. Blended with an Italian coffee liqueur, vodka, and a splash of demerara, the espresso martini is garnished with crushed-up Valrhona chocolate flakes. Rather than a heavy creamy cocktail, guests can enjoy a delicious frothy texture, as the cold brew is finely strained and run on a nitro line to aerate it. The coffee base makes this drink dairy-free and vegan friendly, and the elimination of an Irish cream cuts nearly 175 calories from the cocktail!

- 1.5 Tito’s Vodka
- 2oz Cold brew concentrate
- .5. Italian coffee liqueur
- Dash of demerara to taste
- Valrhona chocolate flakes
Combine all ingredients with ice and stir until well-chilled—strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with Valrhona chocolate flakes.
