Cochon555 Comes to Miami with a Hot New Event at the Biltmore Hotel

When you think of a perfect Miami day, what comes to mind? This will be lunch with friends and family at the beach for many people. But for those who love food as much as they do life itself, it’s time to get ready because, on November 20, something extraordinary is happening: Heritage Fuego, presented by Goya Foods! With an all-star cast, including some incredible chefs from South Florida preparing whole animal dishes right next door at the Biltmore Hotel, where temperature requirements don’t matter since there’s always room Litfire style – meaning fiery hot!

The lineup of participating chefs includes Eileen Andrande of FINKA, Jon Nguyen of Tran AN Vietnamese Eatery; Greg Tetzner of Old Greg’s; Andrew Gonzalez of Rolled & Night Owl Cookies; Giorgio Rapicavoli of Luca Osteria; Mel Rodriguez of La Traila BBQ, Steve Santana of Offsite, Jorgie Ramos of Cebada Rooftop & Masoquista; Christian Chirino of Tur Kitchen; Alex Kuk & Diego Ng of Temple Street Eatery; Brian Nasajon of Beaker & Gray; Jimmy Pastor of The Rusty Pelican; Fernando Desa of Goya Foods; Michael Bolen of Lion & The Rambler; Paula DaSilva of Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale; Thomas Russo of Fontana at The Biltmore; and Louie Estrada of My Cuban Spot. Heritage and heirloom foods include dry-aged beef, pigs, lamb, goat, squab, rabbit, duck, fish, chicken, artisan cheeses, oysters, and heirloom vegetables. Produced by a21, formerly Agency 21 Consulting, the event’s ultimate aim is to educate consumers and create an experience for guests to sink their teeth into honest food from real farmers prepared with love and precise technique.

New this year, guests will get to vote for Best Bite of the Day, and the winner will be crowned the winning title of Heritage Hero.

VIP Early Access: $175 Guests can celebrate early with the VIP experience – an extra 45 minutes to get up close with the chefs, winemakers, and farmers who make it all happen. Guests will enjoy select unique dishes to entice VIP palates, while professional bartenders and sommeliers bring their best game forward with specialty cocktails and reserved wines.

General Admission: $125 Feast on responsibly-raised heritage breed animals cooked over live fires, a perfect setting of ethically sourced food, and a variety of beverages from local craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries – all created by some of Miami’s most forward-thinking food and drink leaders.
