Artisan Beach House at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami is hosting its first chic soiree on New Year’s Eve. Channel your inner James Bond/Bond Girl and join Artisan Beach House for its Shaken Not Stirred New Year’s Eve Gala on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite 1960s James Bond character and ring in 2017 with the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Haulover Cut from The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour, Miami, and indulge in a multi-course dinner from Executive chef Paula DaSilva. Guests can choose from a variety of packages for the evening’s festivities: Early Dinner features three-courses from 6 PM – 8 PM for $125 per person (excluding tax & gratuity); Late Dinner features four-courses from 8:30 PM – close for $250 per person (excluding tax & gratuity); and Dance Party tickets are available for $95 per person (excluding tax & gratuity). The Dutch, inside the W South Beach, is inviting guests to celebrate the holidays in style with Christmas and New Year’s dinners.  On Christmas Eve, the $50 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) dinner will include a traditional Caja China Pig Roast, along with other savory Latin dishes prepared by Executive Chef Adonay Tafur. Guests can spend the evening in the Grove, the Dutch’s lush outdoor playground, enjoying board games, sipping Coquitos($8); all while enjoying live music by DJ Bre. The celebration continues on New Year’s Eve, when guests are invited back for a five-course prix-fixe dinner, with a vegetarian menu available upon request. The first seating from6:30PM to 8 PM for $185 per person, includes half a bottle of Veuve Clicquot per person; the second seating is from 8 PM to 10:30 PM for $300 per person and includes half a bottle of Dom Perignon per person.  Diners can start with snacks that include Sturgeon Caviar with Meyer lemon, crème Fraiche and gaufrette and a Butternut Squash Tart with Sichuan blossom, butternut mousse, and amaranth. Appetizer choices include Foie Gras and Duck Terrine with Granny Smith apple, mostarda, and black truffle jus or Florida Stone Crab Claws with dijon aioli and fresh lemon.  For the mid-course, a Robiola Tortellini with Alba white truffle will be served.  Main course choices include John Dory with lobster curry, Spot prawns and coriander flowers or Manhattan Steak with red wine short rib, Yukon potato, and Hen of the Wood. For dessert, choose from Strawberry Vacherin with toasted almond meringue, basil ice cream and aged balsamic or Manjari Chocolate Crema with espresso caramel, roasted Seckel pear, and spiced vanilla ice cream. Quattro Gastronomia Italiana, the upscale Northern Italian eatery on South Beach, is offering guests a special menu, available both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The special a la carte menu will feature seasonal Alba white truffles. In addition to the regular a la carte menu, specials include, antipasti Fonduta Tartufata con Crostini – Fontina cheese fondue, poached egg yolk, and toasted biova croutons ($40) and Tartare Di Filetto All’Albese –tartar of filet mignon, artichoke salad and crispy Parmigiano Reggiano ($45). Primi Piatti includes Tagliolini Delle Langhe Al Burro Montato – “Langhe” tagliolini in Italian butter sauce ($85); and Risotto con Toma Ossolana –risotto with Piemontese Toma cheese ($85). Secondi Piatti features Robespierre Di Filetto Con Porcini – thinly sliced beef tenderloin with sautéed porcini mushrooms ($95); and Scaloppine di Vitella Tartufate – veal scaloppini with truffle butter sauce and truffle fries ($95). Beloved Miami Beach eatery, Macchialina, will be offering a special four-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for the holidays in addition to its classic dinner menu of rustic Italian favorites. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the feast will feature a variety of dishes in each course – served family-style – for $55 per person, with an additional wine pairing for $28 per person. The restaurant will also be offering specials such as a succulent Veal Osso Bucco and Whole Roasted Fish with white wine and cherry tomatoes; available a la carte or as part of the tasting menu. Miami Beach’s seafood hotspot, Lure Fishbar, will be offering holiday diners a special a la carte menu of delicacies prepared by Executive Chef John Iatrellis on Christmas Eve; the restaurant will be closed on Christmas Day. To ring in the New Year, Lure will be hosting two seating’s on New Year’s Eve, an early seating for those looking to enjoy an amazing meal, before heading off to other festivities, from 6 PM to 8 PM priced at $85 per person (excluding beverages and gratuity) and a late seating, for those looking to celebrate and ring in the new year in the beautiful restaurant from 8 PM to 11:30 PM priced at $155 per person (excluding beverages and gratuity).
