KAORI Miami welcomes Chef Raymond Li as the new Executive Chef of Brickell’s beloved Mediterranean-Asian-inspired dining destination. Coming off the helms of opening Li’s Dim Sum with his father during the COVID 19 pandemic, Chef Li is now taking an entirely new, fresh approach to Modern Asian Cuisine with the re-invention of KAORI’s menu.
Chef Raymond Li is of Chinese, Colombian, and Cuban descent, reflected in his passionate, avant-garde, and precise approach to Modern Asian Cuisine. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and with an impressive resume, this Miami – born chef and media darling has worked for some top hospitality and restaurant concepts in South Florida. The Ritz Carlton, Zuma, and Matador Room by Jean – Georges at the Edition Hotel under Chef Jeremy Ford are just some of them.
Chef Li also acted as Corporate Chef for El Cielo Hospitality Group and helped open El Cielo DC.
