Jump into June with a Crafted by Corsair four-course beer dinner at Corsair Kitchen & Bar on Thursday, June 2, 2022. The perfect early summer kick-off, this monthly beer dinner series at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa’ will feature brews from Cerveceria La Tropical.
Guests will be welcomed with a Tropiflaca Cocktail followed by a four-course meal meticulously crafted by Executive Chef Gordon Maybury and Chef de Cuisine Derrick Connor. Each course is perfectly paired with signature brews from Cuba’s oldest brewery, which re-opened in 2021 in Wynwood.
For the first course, guests will enjoy Shrimp Tostones Tacos, featuring coconut shrimp, avocado, guava crema, passionfruit salsa, queso fresco, and cilantro paired with a refreshing Nativo Key Suave IPA. Next, is Short Rib “ropa vieja” served on a bed of Latin herb rice, perfectly matched with Tropiflaca Light Lager. Guests will continue with a Cuban Pork Duo, a dish of grilled pork tenderloin, crispy pork belly, creamy polenta, pickled vegetables, poached egg, and grain mustard jus.
This hearty dish is paired with La Original Ámbar Lager, known for its notes of honey and a clean finish. Enjoy Flan made with brittle, vanilla anglaise, berry compote, chocolate sauce, and raspberry coulis, served with Tropilina Double IPA with citrus notes, pineapple, guava, and grapefruit.
