Local Fast Casual Chain Celebrates Anniversary with Free Brews & 5 Days of Unique Chef Burgers

Pincho Factory is celebrating five successful years with a 5 Years, 5 Days, 5 Chefs promotion.

To commemorate the milestone for the Miami-born fast-casual brand, what better way then killer burgers and free beers? For the promotion, Pincho Factory co-owners Nedal Ahmad, Otto Othman and Nizar Ahmad are drafting some of Miami’s hottest chefs and culinary personalities to create five unique burgers, with a different chef’s creation highlighted at both Pincho locations, one a day for five days Monday, November 9 – Friday, November 13, 2015. The crop of chefs cannot be beaten; burger fans are in for a treat. They are Giorgio Rapicavoli (Eating House, Glass & Vine), Jose Mendin (Pubbelly Group), Aaron Brooks (EDGE Steak + Bar), Phil Bryant (Local Craft Food & Drink) and Sef Gonzalez (Miami’s own Burger Beast).

Descriptions of each burger below, in chronological order:11/9: Burger Beast’s Cousin Otto Burger, an ode to Pincho Factory co-owner Otto Othman, will feature Pincho Factory’s signature burger patty, sweet chili sauce, jalapeños, bacon, pepper jack cheese (optional) on a brioche roll with Cajun fries. 11/10: The Local’s Phil Bryant’s El Camino – burger patty, sweet potato tots, Ropa Vieja, Swiss cheese and Mojo ketchup. 11/11: Jose Mendin’s Le Pincho Royale comes complete with foie gras & short rib pinch, gruyere cheese and black truffle jus. 11/12: Giorgio Rapicavoli’s Calle Ocho Burger will feature Angus beef, fried onion, potato, sweet plantains, smoked cream cheese, guava ketchup, and mojo. 11/13: EDGE Steak + Bar’s Aaron Brooks will celebrate with an Aussie lamb burger. The official anniversary of Pincho Factory’s opening is Friday, November 6. On that day, at both locations, all patrons can enjoy a complimentary beer with any food purchase (one beer per customer per order). “To honor five years of Pincho Factory, we wanted to celebrate with five people who have changed the way Miamians eat and think about food in the city,” says Othman. “We’re huge fans of these folks and thrilled they’d take the time and share their talents with us and our fans.”Pincho Factory to Celebrate 5 YearsPage 2On November 10, 2010, cousins Nedal Ahmad, Otto Othman, and Nizar Ahmad opened the flagship Pincho Factory location in Miami’s Westchester neighborhood, with only $6.27 to their name. Followed by the opening of the Coral Gables location in October 2013, the concept caught the attention of Lee Schrager, the founder of the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Schrager invited Pincho Factory to participate in the 2015 Amstel Light Burger Bash, where Nedal’s Croquetesa burger won the highly-coveted Amstel Light People’s Choice Award. The team has since opened an outpost in the 300 section of the AmericanAirlines Arena, has several franchise projects in the pipeline and looking forward to the opening of its third corporate store later this year in Hialeah.WHEN/WHERE: Pincho Factory currently has two locations: 9860 SW 40th Street in Miami and 30 Giralda Avenue in Coral Gables. The complimentary beer promotion will be available at both stores on Friday, November 6. The 5 years, 5 days, 5 chefs promotion will run, at both stores, from Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13.
