For starters, the original Cuban tacos, Caja Caliente, recently debuted a permanent food truck location in the neighborhood, offering shaded outdoor seating. Caja Caliente’s menu promises to showcase the brand’s classic tacos as well as one-of-a-kind pop-up creations. Located in the heart of the Miami Design District and known for its modern chic cuisine and swanky crowd, Swan will be reopening this week with new culinary and cocktail offerings. Looking to reopen in October is MC Kitchen as well as the Robuchon restaurants: Le Jardinier, L’Atelier, and Frohzen.
Conceptualized by highly acclaimed chef, Brad Kilgore, Ember/Kaido is also set to reopen in October with expanded outdoor seating and shaded umbrellas to help ease the Miami heat. Lastly, born and bred in the Miami Design District, Itamae will debut a new standalone location in Palm Court Plaza on October 1st. We’re delighted about these new openings and are eager to welcome back some of Miami Design District’s favorites.
