October is BreastCancer Awareness month, and in honor of that restaurants in Miami will be featuring special offerings with proceeds from the items benefiting the Susan G. Komen BreastCancer Awareness Foundation among others.

Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop, the award-winning, South Florida-based bakery will be offering a special treat throughout the month of October in honor of BreastCancer Awareness Month. Sweet seekers can indulge in a limited-time Pink Birthday Cake with a rosy buttercream frosting and extra sprinklesto show their support. Cakes will be available at the Wynwood and Coconut Grove locations. Priced at $8.50 per slice, $68 for whole cakes, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Florida BreastCancer Foundation.

In honor of BreastCancer Awareness Month, Coconut Grove’s favorite drinking den and neighborhood restaurant will be offering a specialty pink cocktail all month long. Available for $14, the 5 O’clock is made with vodka, Cappelletti, watermelon juice, lime, and pilsner. 40% of sales from the sales of this cocktail will be donated to the Foundation for Women’s Cancer.
