Negroni Week: Matador Bar and Market Redefine the Iconic Classic

A bougie twist on the classic Boulevardier, Matador Bar’s Negroni is made with Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Campari, Cocchi di Torino, Grand Marnier Centenaire slow-cooked with citrus peels and is served on a 24k gold flaked ice cube and finished with Bergamot essence.

In celebration of the centennial of the iconic beverage, Market at EDITION is offering the 100 Years Negroni (from June 24 through June 30) priced at $17++ and a Negroni Cupcake priced at $5++ with a portion of the proceeds benefiting their charity partner, No Kid Hungry.

The 100 Year Negroni honors the centennials living in the Italian village of Acciaroli, whom scientists agree to owe their longevity to their heavy use of local rosemary. This cocktail mixes Fresh Artichoke infused Plymouth Gin, Rosemary and Orange infused Campari, and a blend of Lillet Blanc and Antica Carpano to create the Negroni’s signature shade of crimson that’s topped with an orange peel.

Inspired by the flavors of the classic cocktail, the Negroni Cupcake is a boozy cupcake with rose-tinted icing and a rosemary sprig and orange peel garnish that adds a sweet touch to the celebration.
