Novikov Opens Its First U.S. Location

The wait is over! Miami finally welcomes the highly anticipated Novikov Restaurant and Bar, a sophisticated and wholly unique, world-renowned Chinese-Japanese concept. Situated on a lively corner of Downtown Miami, Novikov features spectacular views of Biscayne Bay. This culinary endeavor marks the first U.S. location for the award-winning restaurant group, which is named after its maverick chef-owner, Arkadiy Novikov, arguably the most successful restaurateur in Moscow. The Miami outpost emulates the original, critically-acclaimed London restaurant by showcasing Asian cuisine in a glamorous and high-energy setting. Novikov is located at 300 South Biscayne Boulevard in Miami, FL.

A regular stop in London for celebrities such as Rihanna, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Prince Harry, Novikov Miami’s stunning décor, interactive dining experience, and distinctive open kitchen make it a must-see destination. Novikov is known for its impressive seafood and vegetable market display, whereby guests are encouraged to handpick the best and freshest items from a globally-sourced, daily selection of seasonal ingredients.

Novikov Miami has a delightful ambiance, very sophisticated and yet easy to navigate. Fun and spacious, the strategically located bar and the open kitchen design are showcased in perfect harmony.

From the Kyuri welcome Martini to the homemade Sorbet everything was pure perfection. We especially enjoyed the Yuzu Salmon, the Black Cod Roll, and the Beef Filet.

Among the local celebrities spotted last week were Lisa Petrillo of CBS Miami, Marysol Patton from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami, Lynn Martinez from 7 News and Gil Dezer President of Dezer Development. Just like the London location is known for being a regular stop for celebrities, Novikov Miami is already the place to mix and mingle with the who’s who in South Florida.

Special thanks to Angel, our favorite server at Novikov Miami, he was extremely attentive and took a special interest in ensuring we ordered items to our particular taste and liking. He had an in-depth knowledge of the menu items, flavors, and ingredients, Great Job!

The Asian menu encompasses robata grill and wok dishes, along with an extensive dim sum and sushi selection. The cuisine at Novikov is designed to impress with lavish touches like Slow Poached Quail Egg Gunkan with Truffle and Novikov Peking Duck with Royal Caviar. Other signature dishes include Black Cod Rolls and A5 Wagyu Sirloin with Chili Daikon.

Novikov Restaurant and Bar is the first Miami project for internationally renowned hospitality designer Adam D. Tihany, who worked as a design consultant to Peacock + Lewis in the development of the project. Novikov’s entrance is bright and inviting with comfortable bar seating and a curated art collection. The wave-like ribs of the ceiling design emanate from the center, seemingly undulating with the excitement of the kitchen. Textured wood walls envelop the space, while structural columns reimagined as graceful tree trunks disappearing into the curving ceiling fins. A sushi bar and private chef’s table comprise the more intimate dining spaces. Guests can enjoy the beautiful Miami weather while dining al fresco on the outside terrace, overlooking Biscayne Bay.
