Outdoor Dining is Allowed in Miami and Here are Some of Your Options

Chef/Owner Michael Beltran’s Ariete has established a name for itself as one of Miami’s most dynamic restaurants, offering a contemporary menu of New American cuisine with robust Cuban influences. The restaurant, nestled in one of Coconut Grove’s idyllic tree-lined avenues, features a lush, foliage-lined patio where guests can safely enjoy a meal. On the menu, guests can find Crema De Malanga with black truffles, soft-cooked egg, crispy leeks; Arroz Imperial with peekytoe crab, braised bacon, saffron rice, Castelvetrano olives, parmesan espuma; Monkfish Encendido with shellfish and beef jus, white rice; and the famed Pastrami Style Shortrib, among others. The year-old funky and intimate eatery in Little Haiti by co-owners Alex Meyer and Luciana Giangrandi will be offering limited outdoor seating beginning Friday, July 10. Boia De will continue to serve up its modern American cuisine with Italian influences including signature favorites and new dishes. As always, menu selections will change frequently, based on seasonal ingredients. Chef Michael Beltran’s popular Cuban diner, Chug’s, is offering limited outdoor seating in addition to ventanita takeout. Ventanita items include Pastelito Papii’s signature pastelitos, croquetas, Cuban toast, and coffee. The eatery’s full menu will be available for al fresco dining, including fritas, the breakfast sandwich, Cuban sandwich, and other handhelds, freshly baked goods, and more. The Setai Miami Beach’s signature modern Asian restaurant, Jaya, will continue offering lunch and dinner al fresco in their outdoor Courtyard. The recently renovated poolside courtyard now features a built-in retractable rooftop that fully expands, allowing guests unparalleled sky views while feeling the cool ocean breeze. Re-opened early June after adopting enhanced COVID safety and sanitization protocols, The Ocean Grill at The Setai, Miami Beach is an ideal outdoor dining destination steps away from the beach. Offering unobstructed views of the ocean in a casually-sophisticated, lush environment complete with cool misted air, the alfresco restaurant has just launched its new summer menu.  Priced at $33 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity) the three-course prix fixe bill of fare is available daily from 11 AM until 5 PM. Coconut Grove’s recently revamped hotspot The Taurus is open for al fresco dining. Of course, the eatery will be adhering to all safety protocols.
