A spokesman for JPMorgan Chase told Patch the financial giant is not releasing any details of the conference in Miami Beach where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly delivered the keynote address Thursday night at a South Beach hotel.
“We will decline to comment,” the spokesperson said Friday. The upscale 1 Hotel also declined to release any details about the event.
The New York Post’s Page Six reported the couple chose Miami Beach to make their first public appearance since severing their senior duties with the royal family and embarking on an independent financial future. Ernesto Rodriguez of the Miami Beach Police Department told Patch he was not aware of any security detail being provided by the city.
Reporters from local television stations set up outside the hotel Friday but did not report seeing the famous couple.
