Loews Coral Gables Hotel Announces Ricardo Jarquin As Executive Chef

Loews Coral Gables Hotel, opening November 3, 2022, is pleased to announce Ricardo Jarquin as Executive Chef. In this role, Chef Jarquin will spearhead all culinary aspects of the new 242-room hotel, located in the heart of The Plaza Coral Gables. This includes the development and implementation of menus and culinary points of view for all dining outlets, banquet functions, and curated hotel culinary programming.

With 17 years of experience working for premier hotel brands across the country, Chef Jarquin brings his elevated culinary perspective, creativity, and inspired flavors to Loews Coral Gables. Chef joins Loews from the St. Regis Bal Harbour, where he served as Executive Chef for two years. Before that, he held the same role at W Miami and Silverado Resort in Napa, CA. Throughout his career, Jarquin has held Executive Chef and leadership roles at notable brands, including Four Seasons (Miami, New York, Hawaii), The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Hilton (San Diego), Langham Chicago, and Conrad (New York).
