Scarpetta Offers Special Carb-Up Menu to Fuel Miami Marathoners

In preparation for the upcoming 2016 Miami Marathon on Sunday, January 24, Scarpetta, Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s AAA four-diamond award-winning Italian eatery, will offer marathon runners a special $45++ “Carb-Up” prix-fixe menu. The menu is available from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23. The three-course menu is a delicious way to power up before the big run; specially crafted to ensure runners’ muscles are fueled and energy levels are up for optimal performance. Menu follows:

PRIMI PIATTI (choice of one) Burrata Broccoli Rabe Pesto, Heirloom Tomatoes, Baby Basil & Arugula Salad Toasted Pine Nuts, Pecorino & Truccioletto Vinaigrette Creamy Polenta Fricassée of Truffled Mushrooms PIATTA (choice of one) Spaghetti Tomato & Basil Duck & Foie Gras Ravioli Marsala Reduction Short Rib Agnolotti Dal Plin Horseradish, Red Wine & Bread Crumbs DOLCE (choice of one) Coconut Panna CottaCaramelized Pineapple & Guava “Soup” Amedei Chocolate Cake Toasted Almond Gelato & Salted Caramel Sauce Scarpetta is located at 4441 Collins Avenue, within the Sorrento Tower at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and dinner is served nightly beginning at 6 p.m.
