Unlock the Secrets of South Florida’s Best Espresso Martinis
One of the most popular drinks from the 90’s resurgence of classic cocktails is the Espresso Martini, a combination of vodka and espresso. This smooth, rich and caffeinated cocktail has quickly become a favorite among coffee and cocktail lovers alike. The Espresso Martini is versatile, allowing various ingredients to be added. Popular additions include tequila or flavored liqueurs such as Kahlua or Sambuca and chocolate bitters to bring out the flavor profile even more. For anyone looking to get creative and explore new taste combinations, substituting vodka with other spirits like whiskey or rum is also an option. Many bartenders prefer adding cream or oat milk for a creamy texture, while others may opt for cold brew coffee instead of espresso for a lighter, less intense flavor. Whatever you choose to do, the Espresso Martini is sure to delight you! Below, we’ve gathered recipes from some of the best coffee-spiked martinis around South Florida to drink and toast to – quite literally – on National Espresso Martini Day.
