Chef-Driven Eatery, Dirt
Slow Food Miami presents its “Snail Social” roaming Happy Hour event on Tuesday, July 12th from 6 PM to 8 PM hosted by DIRT in Miami Beach.
Helmed by Chef Nicole Votano, DIRT offers satisfying and wholesome meals that embrace seasonality with a vegan menu in addition to the regular full menu. But DIRT’s commitment to sustainability transcends the food offerings. 100%-powered by pollution-free energy from Arcadia Power, a recyclable glass bottle container program and an investment in recyclable, compostable and/or biodegradable paper and plastic packaging, DIRT’s pledge to practice exemplary environmental standards in their operation is indisputable.
A custom, farm-to-table Snail of Approval small bites menu for the evening will be served from 6 PM to 8 PM and features:
- Tortilla Española made with Florida potatoes, melted leeks, and velvety Sun Fresh Farm & Ranch eggs with a smoky aioli
- A refreshing summertime Local Roots Melon Salad with sugar cube muskmelon, crimson watermelon, nuoc mam and toasted peanuts topped with freshly-picked cilantro and mint
- Sweet offerings including Jojo Tea Matcha Mango Cakes and Mini Blueberry and Peach Crostatas
Guests are invited to enjoy 20% off dinner at DIRT after the Snail Social event concludes.
Locally-sourced produce is provided by Sun Fresh Farm & Ranch, Seed to Sprout, Harpke Family Farms, Zak the Baker, Local Roots, and Jojo Tea.
This event is open to the public. There will be a “Snail Social” hosted by different Snail of Approval chefs and restaurants throughout Miami on the second Tuesday of every month. Kids are welcome.
DIRT is located at 232 5th Street, Miami Beach. http://dirteatclean.com/
