Slow Food Miami presents round seven of its “Snail Social” roaming Happy Hour event, this time at Apeiro Kitchen & Bar, featuring rustic, yet progressive cuisine inspired by the Mediterranean. The local, 100% volunteer non-profit dedicated to planting a fresher future for our children, will hold its seventh “Snail Social” soiree at Apeiro on Tuesday, March 8 from 6 PM – 8 PM. Guests can savor a complimentary cocktail and passed trays of complimentary small bites, with Happy Hour pricing on additional menu items. Executive Chef Anthony Sitek will prepare an elegant variety of small plates including · Crispy Eggplant with Manchego cheese· Smoky Grilled Spanish Octopus with crispy potato and red chili· Lamb Sliders with pickled onion, feta and tangy tzatziki· Tuna Tartare with roasted tomato and basil salsa, avocado, toasted sesame· Margherita Flatbread with creamy mozzarella and tomatoes· Street Corn with feta cheese, paprika and Fresno chiliThis event is open to the public. There will be a Snail Social – hosted by different Snail of Approval chefs and restaurants throughout Miami – on the second Tuesday of every month. Other participating chefs and restaurants will be announced throughout the season via Slow Food Miami’s mailing list and social media tagged with #snailsocial.
