The Traymore Restaurant and Bar at COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach, the inaugural hotel property in the U.S by COMO Hotels and Resorts, presents its third monthly installment of “Gin & Jazz” taking place on Wednesday, October 19th, starting at 7:00 p.m. The newly introduced evening soiree is open to the public with free admission and will commemorate International Gin & Tonic Day with an exclusive cocktail created for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Each month, The Traymore Gin Bar – Miami’s only gin tasting destination – will be collaborating with a premium gin brand that will sponsor the evening’s festivities. Each gin selected for the event will be integrated into an exclusive gin cocktail menu created by the hotel’s management team and head mixologist, Alexis Sanchez. Nolet’s Gin will be the presenting sponsor for October’s rendition of Gin and Jazz – chosen on the date that celebrates International Gin & Tonic Day. As a twin tribute, Nolet’s will form part of a classic gin cocktail created especially for the night, entitled “Pink Lady.” Proceeds from the sales of this one-of-a-kind cocktail will benefit “FORCE” a breast cancer charity, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
To accompany the gin presentation – in true 1930s style – will be a special guest appearance by a local artist, who will be invited to perform a number of soothing vocal tracks that represent the very best in today’s classic and contemporary jazz. Miami’s Jahzel Dotel will return to delight attending guests with her own cover versions that will prove to be the ideal accompaniment to The Traymore’s serene ambiance.
Chef Juan Loaisiga will be tempting guests with an array of his most creative treats throughout the evening, demonstrating why The Traymore has become one of the most acclaimed seafood destinations in the region. Complimentary passed hors d’oeuvres will be featured as an ideal pairing for the Nolet’s gin cocktail menu and Chef Juan will introduce a new selection of hors d’oeuvres every month for guests to enjoy. In addition to The Traymore Gin Bar’s signature cocktails, such as the “Collins Park” and “Traymore 1939,” the hotel also offers a series of Gin Flights, for the true gin aficionado, including the Timeless Gin Flight, Modern Gin Flight, and Adventurous Gin Flight. The Traymore Gin Bar offers a unique gin cocktail menu developed from the bar’s eclectic collection of more than 40 domestic and international brands from around the world.
