Lure Fishbar South Beach, the elegant seafood brasserie and bustling cocktail bar at Loews Miami Beach Hotel is celebrating the early arrival of summer in Miami with a new Sunset Menu, available seven days a week from 5 PM to 7 PM. The three-course prix fixe dinner, priced at $45 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) is launching in tandem with the debut of a number of new a la carte menu offerings, many of them as part of the Sunset Menu. Channeling the mystique of a luxury cruise liner, the restaurant showcases world-class seafood, modern cocktailing and unparalleled service in a vibrant, upscale setting.
Seafood lovers know that Lure, between its consistent, catch-of-the-day freshness and posh nautical motif, will not disappoint. Appetizer choices on the Sunset Menu include Chef’s daily selection of freshly shucked Dressed Oysters boasting rich flavors such as pineapple salsa, shallot mignonette, and jalapeño ponzu; Tuna Tataki with crispy shallots, micro arugula, and orange ponzu; a classic Wedge Salad with tomato, shaved red onion, Nueske’s bacon lardons and blue cheese dressing; and the latest addition to Lure’s small plates selection, a Lump Crab Cake served with hearts of palm slaw, caper remoulade, and togarashi.
New to the menu and appearing among the main course options on the prix fixe menu are Snapper a la Plancha, local yellowtail snapper, roasted fennel, and Champagne nage and Roasted Organic Chicken with basil mash, steamed carrots, and au jus. Also available is a Sushi Omakase Chef’s selection of 2 (4pc) maki, 2 nigiri, and 2 sashimi; and the renowned award-winning ‘Bash Style’ Burger topped with caramelized onion-bacon jam, shaved pickles,
American cheese. Signature dishes including Grilled Whole Daurade and a ½ lb. Alaskan King Crab is available at an additional cost and guests are encouraged to supplement their entrée with one of Lure’s new signature sides like Broccolini with Romesco, Roasted Cauliflower with almonds and capers or Scalloped Potatoes. Lure’s desserts are always worth saving room for and on the Sunset Menu guests can enjoy the decadent Lure Trio, a trifecta of signature confections including Lure’s key lime pie, homemade ice cream sandwich, and peanut butter candy bar. For something lighter, house-made daily selections of Ice Cream and Sorbet will also be offered.
Diners at the bar and outside patio can enjoy Lure Fishbar’s daily Happy Hour available from5PM to 8 PM. Drink specials include $8 glasses of select wines and sakes; $8 cocktails including the brand new Up in Smoke – mezcal, habanero, grapefruit; Rum Punch – Cruzan rum, pineapple, cranberry, and angostura bitters; Jenny’s Teacup – vodka, St. Germain, and grapefruit liqueur; Laid Up – bourbon, peach de Vigne, and lemon; Stowaway – gin, muddled cucumber, lime, and black pepper; and 3 Sheets – tequila, ginger, and lime jarritos.
