The Ocean Grill at The Setai, Miami Beach, an ideal outdoor dining destination steps from the beach, will begin offering dinner nightly, starting Friday, August 14. Normally operational from 11 AM to 5 PM with a menu that spotlights Mediterranean-inspired wood-grilled cuisine, the Grill will now be open evenings from 6 PM – 10 PM. Pivoting to take advantage of the magical location while restaurants are required to only seat diners outside, The Ocean Grill has been renovated to expand the terrace and awnings to cover the entire space.  Cool misted air blows from fans, amplifying ocean breezes and of course, all COVID-19 protocols including social distancing are observed.

The new evening menu, created by Setai Executive Chef Vijayudu Veena and executed by Chef Scott Brown, transports guests to summer nights on the Italian Riviera with a number of pasta, an expanded grill section and a selection of new starters and salads. Starters include a perfectly composed Cheese & Charcuterie plate; a Panzanella Salad with burrata, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and red wine vinaigrette; and Grilled Octopus with fingerling potatoes, roasted Campari tomatoes, fava bean puree, and extra virgin olive oil. Pasta and pizza lovers can enjoy a simple Spaghetti PomodoroPrawn Risotto with grilled prawns, parmesan, and tomato sauce; Agnolotti with mozzarella di Bufala, braised short ribs, Parmesan cream, thyme, and beef jus; Truffle Pizza with robiola, mascarpone, shaved truffle and chives, among others.  Making good use of the restaurant’s wood-burning grill, guests can choose from signature meat selections including Bone-in RibeyeNew York StripFilet Mignon, or Lamb ChopsFree Range Organic Chicken; or freshly caught seafood like Organic Scottish SalmonChilean Seabass, and Whole Branzino. Desserts include Tartufo with house-made cherry & pistachio ice cream, dipped in chocolate; Torta Setteveli with chocolate cake, chocolate & hazelnut mousses, and feuilletine crunch; and Fruits of the Forest Pavlova with berry sorbet and mascarpone Chantilly.

Alongside the a la carte menu, guests can select to enjoy a three-course prix-fixe menu as part of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s annual Miami Spice program.  On offer through September 30, 2020, the menu is priced at $39 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.

Specialty cocktails – all available singly or by the pitcher – are perfect for al fresco quaffs and include Frozen BellinisFrozen Chili Passion Martinis made with chili and ginger passion, passionfruit rum & puree, cranberry juice, and chili flakes; as well as Signature Mojitos, the Setai Mule and other tempting libations.  Setai Coconuts – a refreshing beverage served in a branded coconut – are offered non-alcoholic with coconut water or enhanced. Coco Walker with whiskey and coco cream; Coco Melon with a blend of rum and watermelon juice; and Coco Vanilla comprised of vanilla vodka and pineapple juice. A full selection of wines and champagnes is also available.

The Ocean Grill is located at The Setai, Miami Beach, 2001 Collins Avenue.
