Les Dames D’escoffier Announces Chef’s Tribute Dinner at Mandarin Oriental Miami to Honor Chef Cindy Hutson

The Miami chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier Miami (LDEM), a prominent national culinary organization comprised of distinguished women leaders in food, wine, and hospitality, announces its annual Escoffier gala dinner will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Mandarin Oriental Miami, 500 Brickell Key, Miami.  This year’s black-tie event will honor award-winning Chef Cindy Hutson with the third LDEM Achievement Award as well as celebrate the Miami chapter’s 15th anniversary. This event will begin at 6:30 PM, with champagne and canapés; dinner is slated for 8 PM and will comprise three memorable courses. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to view and bid on luxury auction items with donations going to Les Dames’ educational programs.  FOX Channel 7 newscaster, Belkys Nerey, will serve as host of the event. The menu and entertainment will be announced. Previous LDEM Achievement Award recipients were Chef Michelle Bernstein in 2014 and Chef Michael Schwartz in 2013.  

Chef Hutson of Ortanique is being honored for consistently dazzling diners for over 16 years with her creative and inspired “cuisine of the sun” which fuses tropical ingredients and classic culinary techniques into a flavorful and innovative modern cuisine. Tickets, if purchased before September 1, 2015, are priced at $250 per person for guests; $350 per person for patrons, and $2,300 for a table of ten; after September 15th tickets for a table of ten will be $2,500. Les Dames members and Bon Amis can purchase tickets for $200 per person before September 15th and $250 per person thereafter.  Tickets may be purchased at http://lesdamesmiamigala.bpt.me or via the organization’s website: www.LesDamesDinner.org.
