Vagabond Restaurant & Bar is thrilled to announce the launch of its upcoming monthly BBQ event series, ‘Alex Chang’s Backyard Cookout,’ featuring chef Steve Santana of Taquiza. The first event kicks off Sunday, February 21st from 2 pm to 6 pm, and will continue as an ongoing activation every third Sunday of the month, with a roster of some of Miami’s most notable chefs.
Come one, come all and enjoy a delicious Mexican BBQ, specialty cocktails, and live music in the laid back setting of Vagabond’s outdoor pool area. With bites starting at $6, guests can savor a unique selection of traditional Mexican BBQ items, specially curated by chefs Alex Chang and Steve Santana.
Menu offerings include Mexican street corn, tomato water, and oregano in a tomato aguachile, uni tostada, salsa Negra, a lengua ‘cheeseburger’ with poblano and jack cheese, goat Caja china with tortillas and salsa, and to finish it all up, seasonal raspado. The fun doesn’t end there, In addition to the mouthwatering Mexican inspired BBQ, there will be two specialty cocktails and a michelada, concocted with Montelobos Mezcal and Ancho Reyes.
